Rod Stewart Commence With Vegas Hits Stint
Las Vegas- on last saturday night the star Rod Steward played the first show out of his eight-shows.
In the concert the 65 year old amalgamate the mix of hits, American standards and pop radio staples from his latest Great American Songbook album. Top tracks included "I Get a Kick Out of You," "Tonight's the Night," "Hot Legs" and "Fly Me to the Moon."
Stewart also offered up a mix of covers including the O'Jays song "Peace Train," Sam Cooke's "Having a Party", Chuck Berry's "Sweet Little Rock and Roller," and John Fogerty's "Proud Mary."
On the beginning of the show Rod Stewart said that, ""I've been told not to do much talking tonight, because we have a lot of songs,"
The rocker was backed by a six-piece band, four singer/dancers and a three-piece brass section.
