Rod Stewart Requests Model Train Set Tools On Gig Rider


To develop miniature buildings for his model train set before gigs,Rod Stewart requests a large table on his rider.

At his Beverly Hills home,Rod Stewart has a 1,500 sq ft train layout and he also asks for a fan so the glue fumes don't affect his voice.

In an interview with Model Railroder magazine,the singer revealed the details about his hobby.

He said a good model builder has "an eye for proportion, a sense of what fits natu­rally, right down to the placement of the advertising signs", but that he never drinks before starting work.

"I can't build after a couple of glasses of wine - the results are never good," he said.

Designed made by Rod Steward based on 1940's New York Central and Pennsylvania railways.Rod Steward also expecting second child with wife Penny Lancaster.

Rod Stewart joined "The Heart and Soul" tour

Superstar Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Rod Stewart and Stevie Nicks claimed that they’ve joined to the musical events “The Heart and Soul” tour of this year.

This tour will introduce two best musician for a series of arena concerts outside North America including are performers such as Phoenix, New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, and more.

Stewart said, “We haven’t yet begun rehearsals but I can already tell you this, with Stevie on board our audiences are in store for an evening of pure rock and roll music. I’m already thinking about which of my old favorites to bring back and vocally, I think we’ve both begun thinking about which songs might be great fun and well-suited for a duet or two.”

Tour tickets will go on sale on Jan. 21 at 10 am local time.

Rod Stewart Reveal on ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’

A list of stars guests to the Piers Morgan Tonight with a beat beginning on 17 January, the stars list will kick off them, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Piers Morgan said there would "fireworks" when he officially takes over Larry King's CNN primetime slot this month.

Morgan's first official guests Oprah Winfrey will be reveal, but topping the list of Brits is Ricky Gervais, who will follow on Thursday (January 20).

In addition, Rod Stewart, George Clooney, Howard Stern, and former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice will stay for a chat.

Rod Stewart to release ‘best of’ American Songbook collection


Rod Stewart is about to release a collection of best American songs.The collection compiled up of highlights from the singer’s five albums in his ‘Great American Songbook’ series.It will going to be released on 1st February and features 14 tracks.

This album will contain the new as well as old songs like track "You’ll Never Know” – which was produced by one of Rod’s longtime collaborators Richard Perry. It will also include brand new mixes of “Someone To Watch Over Me” and “Bye Bye Blackbird.

With his signature raspy voice, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart is widely regarded as having one of the most interpretive voices in music.

Rod Stewart perform at the home of Norwich City FC

Rock legend Rod Stewart will perform live in the summer of 2011 at the home of Norwich City FC.

Stewart wanted to attract at least thousands of fans to Carrow Road on 8 June.

Norwich City's head of sales and markiting Will Hov said, "The club is thrilled to confirm Rod Stewart will be performing live".

During the close season Elton John and George Michael have past played together at the ground.

Mr Hov said, "This is going to be another massive concert for the people of Norfolk to enjoy. I'm sure it will bring Rod's fans from right across the country. It is a major boost to the club and the area to have an artiste of this calibre choosing to play at the Carrow Road stadium".
