Rod Stewart admitted that model Rachel Hunter, he split his doctor ask for help after she was very upset.

Rocker admitted last year that split left her heartbroken.

He says, “It was a good six months of lying upstairs, looking at the ceiling in bed”.

Stewart told Morgan, “Couldn’t get out of bed, didn’t drink for six months. That’s how bad it was – I didn’t drink for six months”.

“There’s no way of getting over it, there’s no way round it, there’s no way through it. I went to therapists, nothing works, you know. Time.”

He reckons a better partner Lancaster money which he has married in 2007. He's latest children Alastair, five, and Aiden is the mother of the child.

He admitted, “I’m a better listener now than I’ve ever been before. I listen a lot more. I say I love you a lot more than I used to. There’s nothing wrong with being soft.”
