Roderick David Stewart was born in 10 January 1945 in Highgate, London. Rod Stewart is an English-born artist and songwriter of Scottish descent, most known for his specially raspy, gravelly, hoarse-sounding voice and personable singing style, as exemplified in his signature song “Maggie May”.In a career now putting its fifth decade, Stewart has got 27 top 10 hit singles worldwide. Although the good thing of his recordings has changes with times, he is widely known as among the best interpretive singers of recent times, and has consistently been a presence on the charts since the early 1970s.
